परिचय
नेपालको कर्णाली अंचल अन्तर्गत पर्ने सबै भन्दा ठुलो जिल्ला डोल्पा जुफाल विमानस्थलबाट करिब दुई घण्टा पैदल हिडेपछि भेरी नदिको किनारमा अवस्थित प्रसिद्द त्रिपुरा सुन्दरीको मन्दिर छ . त्यहि मन्दर्को नामबाट स=प्र=बल त्रिपुरा गणको नामाकरण भयको हो . यो गण अहिले बाँके जिल्लाको कोहलपुरमा स्थापना भयको छ . चैतेदशैँ र बडादशैंमा ठुलो मेला लाग्ने यो मन्दिर कर्णालीवासीको मुख्य धार्मिक शक्ति केन्द्र हो . यस युनिटको नाम जोडियको देवताको मन्दिर स्थापन नभयको अवस्थालाई महशुस गरी गणपति स=प्र=उ=शम्भु प्रसाद उप्रेतीले युनिटकै परिसर भित्र त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी भगवतीको मन्दिर निर्माण गर्ने तर्फ आबश्यक छलफल गर्दा यस गणमा कार्यरत सम्पूर्ण स=प्र=क=हरुबाट समेत मन्दिर निर्माणको चाहना भय अनुसार गण परिवारको इच्छा र चाहनाको कदर गर्दै मिति २०६७ साल चैत्र १० गते बिहिवार यस गणको मुलगेट नजिकै आम नागरिकको समेत पहुच हुने गरी स प्र क हरुको परिश्रम तथा आन्तरिक श्रोत साधन जुटाई तत्कालिन स प्र अ म नि शैलेन्द्र कुमार श्रेष्ठ ज्युको बरदबहुलीबाट वैदिक बिधि पुर्वक शिलान्यास गरी निर्माण कार्य शुरु गरियको थियों .

धार्मिक महत्व बोकेको त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी भगवतीको मन्दिरमा चैते दशैंको अवसर परेर भव्य मेला लाग्ने गरेको पाईएको छ . त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी भगवतीको मन्दिर कर्णाली आंचलको डोल्पा, धादिंग जिल्लाको सल्यानकोट गा=बि=स=को वडा न ५, बैतडी जिल्लाको दशरथचन्द्र नगरपालिका वडा न ९ र दोलखा जिल्लामा प्रमूख धार्मिक स्थलकै रुपमा रही आएको छ . यस मन्दिरमा प्रत्येक बर्ष बडा दशैँ, मंशिर महिनाको नवमी पर्व र चैते दशैंमा विशेश मेला लाग्ने गर्दछ . बडादशैं र चैते दशैंमा पन्चवाली दिने परम्परा भएतापनि कोहलपुरमा निर्मित यस मन्दिरमा भने वली गर्न निषेध गरि ति पर्वहरुमा वती बलि फलफुल, मिठाई, दुधबाट बनेका परिकारहरु चढई आध्यात्मिक तरिकाले प्रणा प्रर्तिस्ठा हुँदाकै समयमा साकाहारी तरिकाले पुंजा गर्ने गरी वैदिक मन्त्रबाट नै पुंजा गर्ने व्यवस्था मिलाई मिति २०६८.०५.०६ गते स=प्र=म=नि=शैलेन्द्र कुमार श्रेष्ठ ज्युबाट भव्य समारोहका बीच वैद्धिक विधि पूर्वक समुद्घाटन कार्य सम्पन्न भयो बिशेष गरी पौराणिक कथा किम्वादंदी अनुसार दानवले देवदेवी र मनुष्यलाई विभिन्न दुख दिन थालेपछि देवी भगवतीको गोप्य बैठकबाट महिशासुरसँग युद्ध गर्ने निर्स्कर्ष निकाली युद्ध आरम्भ गर्न बाजागाजा सहित देवी कालिन्चोक भाग्वातिसंग सहायता मांग गई पर्किएइपछि यज गरिन्छ . यज भईरहेको ठाँउमा दानव आई ध्वस्त बनेपछी त्यहाबाट नै युद्ध शुरू हुन्छ . यसको सम्झनामा खड्ग जात्रामा युद्धको अभिनय गरी दशैं टिकाको भोलिपल्ट मनाइन्छ . असारी युद्धको अभिनय गरी बिभिन्न युद्ध सामाग्रीहरु सहितको रोचक द्र्स्यहरु प्रदर्शन गरिन्छ . युद्धको क्रममा थाकेको अनुभव भयपछी आफ्ना दलबल सहित सेनापति आन्कुमारी भगवतीसंग सहायता माग्न जान्छन, पुनः युद्ध दोहोरयौछान . दानव फेला परेको दानव सेनाको प्रतिक स्वरुपलाई सबै मिलेर खड्ग प्रहार गरी -वली_ मार्ने प्रचलन छ . विजय प्राप्त गर्दै अघि बढी रहेका फौज सहायता माग्न त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी पुग्छन . त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी भगवतीले आफ्ना नाबालक छोरा बटुक भैरवलाई युद्ध गर्ने तरिका सिकाई घण्टा, डमरु, खड्ग चार हातमा थमाई माला लगाएर युद्धमा सामेल गराउछन . बटुक सहितको फौज नागेस्वर सम्छे पुग्छन र यसरी भिमेश्वर र त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी भगवतीमा बाली दिएको रागाको टाउकोलाई दबाव सेनाको प्रतिक स्वरूप मानि सो टाउकोलाई भगवतीले र त्यसपछि बटुक भैरव सहित अरु फौजले खड्ग प्रहार गरी शिर छेदन गर्दै सगुन बाजा बजाई बिजय उत्सव मनाउने परम्परा रहेको पाईनछ .
त्रिपुरा सुन्दरी मन्दिर भारतको बंगाल राज्यको तल्वादा गाउ देखि ५ किलोमिटर दुरी स्थित भव्य प्राचिन त्रिपुरा सुन्दरीको मन्दिर छ . जसमा सिंहमा सावर भगवती अष्टदश भुजाको मुर्ति पनि छ . मुर्तिको भुजामा अठार प्रकारका आयुध छन . यस मन्दिरमा राखीयका मुर्तिको संग्रालय पनि बनाईएको छ, जुन शिलपकला अद्वितीय हो . यस मन्दिरमा प्रतिदिन दर्शनार्थीको ताँती लागेको हुन्छ . प्रत्येक बर्षको नवरात्रीमा यहा ठुलो मेला समेत लाग्ने गर्दछ .
After two hour walk from Jufal Airport of Dolpa District there lies a famous and beautiful temple beside Veri river called Tripura Sundari. This temple is well known as great religous power centre of the people of karnali zone from the name of same temple APF Tripura Battalion is named and is located at Kohalpur, Banke .As the fact that the temple has not been made inside the compound of the battalion since its establishment from the name of which it is named, battalion commander SP Shambhu Upreti made a will to build the temple inside periphery of battalion.
Accordingly, with help of due effort of battalion commander together with members of battalion family using internal resource, the building process was started on 10th Chaitra 2067 near the main gate of the battalion where the there is the access of public too. And it was concurrent AIG Shailendra Kumar Shrestha from the hand of whose the stone was put for the building of the temple, adopting ritual method. After the completion of the building of temple, it was inaugurated by Inspector General Shailendra Kumar Shrestha on 6 th Bhadra ,2068.
The temple of goddess Tripura Sudari is located not only in Dolpa but it is also located at Salyankot VDC of Dhading, Dhashrathchandra Municipality of Baitadi and Dolkha District. These temples carry a great religious importance and there occurs special fair at the time of Vijaya Dashami, Chaitra Dashain and Nawami Parba.and people celebrate it happily and immensely. Though there is the tradition of giving Panchabali in these temples,such activity is prohibited in the temple of goddess Tripuri Sundari which is at APF Triura Battalion, Kohalpur. Insstead here people worship with flowers and fruits only.
In India the temple of Tripura Sundari is located at Talwada Vilklage of Bangal State It is ancient and immense ,where there is an statue of goddess with eighty hands . There is also a museum of statues of that temple which is very unique. every day there occur long lines of pilgrims and visitors.
According to ethic and legend, when devil Maisaashur tortured deities and human differedly, they fkeed and reached in front of goddess kalinchowk to ask for help & shekter.and they begn to worship her. the war between deities ad devil started when devil hampered the worshipping. for the memory of war between deities and devil, people cekebrate Khadka Jaaaaatra on the 11 th day of Dashain by crossing crease and acting as if they were in war. during the war against Misassur. when deities feel tired, they go in front of godess Triura Sundari for begging help . Tripura Sundaari senfds her son Baatuk Bhairabto help deties against the war with devil by teaching the away of fighting and giving crease, bell 'damaaru' and other fighting instruments. The team of Batuk Bhairav together with Nageshwor again fight with devil Maisashur and ultimately get victory over evils
